Welcome

The Martin Fleischmann Memorial Project is a group dedicated to researching Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (often referred to as LENR) while sharing all procedures, data, and results openly online. We rely on comments from online contributors to aid us in developing our experiments and contemplating the results. We invite everyone to participate in our discussions, which take place in the comments of our experiment posts. These links can be seen along the right-hand side of this page. Please browse around and give us your feedback. We look forward to seeing you around Quantum Heat.

Join us and become part of the project. Become one of the active commenters, who question our work and suggest next steps.

Or, if you are an experimenter, talk to us about becoming an affiliated lab and doing your work in a Live Open Science manner.

Try to calibrate the effective heating seen on one of the wires due to coupling within the system upon the other wire. By this I would like to know the calibrated temperature of the non driven wire when power is applied to the driven one. For example, when 50 watts of power is applied to the inactive wire and the active Celani wire is open circuited a certain temperature can be measured in the Celani wire due to coupling of the gas and perhaps radiation and convection.

The same temperature of the Celani wire can be obtained by applying a certain number of watts to it directly with the other wire opened. This equivalent power is what I desire to know. It would be great if a calibration chart were to be generated over the entire range of powers.

This information might allow us to determine how much of the excess power is due to direct wire temperature, which represents power applied, and the gas temperature that could be adjusted by heating of the inactive wire. I suspect that the information we obtain will be quite important.

Hi Dave,

We are / will be exploring these aspects and will encourage the participants of the multiple replications to do likewise.

Thank you for your engagement and please keep those ideas coming - we need to leave no stone unturned.
