Cost and modalities of replication
Hi guys,
I have tried to follow your work as well as possible with what limited time I had available and I would like to thank you for sharing everything with us on the web. I have more time now and I will reread each of your posts in detail.
I was wondering how much money we should have to replicate your experiment. I have already written to Mathieu that I had some contacts in some labs in Paris but even if the experience is very interesting, we need to have an order of magnitude of expenses and some idea about modalities. I saw that it was about 2000€ for the EU Cell. Is that a right order of magnitude?
Thanks for your reply,
Good luck!

Cost and modalities of replication
Hi Adrien,
Excluding labour and costs of the Facilitators but factoring in costs of labour in the US we are probably well in excess of $140,000 to date. In addition, the US team leveraged a pre-existing well equipped machine shop to be able to build the initial cells and the current cells being produced.
When all the dust has settled, making one of our future designs will be far more trivial as the evolution will not have to be gone through.
We will make cells and supporting equipment available for direct purchase after the wider replication and they will be of the order of $25,000 upwards. A proportion of any returns will go to help support the MFMPs ongoing function and the rest (ex. costs) going to make it worthwhile for the manufacturer of the experiments.
The 2000€ was for the additions and modifications to the EU cell. Not its overall cost to design, build and operate.

Cost and modalities of replication
Costs are difficult this early in a project. An excellent read on costs in sheet metal fabrication is available at :
doc.utwente.nl/40351/1/t000001d.pdf
Chapter two is most relevant and illustrates the difficulties of creating early costs. This LENR project is way too early to be costed. We don't even know if it is feasible yet. and what can be subtracted from the existing design to save costs and exactly what needs to be added to secure functionality? These pieces of information are still mysteries.
