Naval Research Labs (NRL) report multiple replications of Pons and Fleischmann

on .

After 300 null tests using pure Pd cathodes, adding 10% Rhodium yielded 10,000 joules of excess energy from less than 1g of cathode material.

They have replicated the results multiple times and have a collective theory and model for the key aspects of the process.

@Edwin Pell

We are waiting for new wires from Celani - the dual french cells are ready and the NaI has done long term background tests.

Alan is preparing his next *GlowStick* experiment.

Bob Higgins had to help his father who was seriously ill - but the {GarbageCan} has advanced in recent weeks.

I will be with me356 in next few days assuming I can get transport.

We regularly make ourselves available to Piantelli and wait to see if he can see us.

We are waiting on illness of an individual to resolve itself for the original P&F material tests.

The MassFlow in France is waiting on vacuum pump - but preparations are being made to test Parkhomov/Rossi in it.

We are supporting other replications by individuals and universities in various capacities.

This is the fade of the day. Does MFMP have a long term commitment to any experiment or set of experiments?

Alan Goldwater's experiment with Alumina tube is the most promising I have seen from MFMP. It gets my vote.

A few questions:

If I recall correctly, M&F detected neutrons from their experiment. Did the experimenters detect neutrons as per the original M&F experiment?

If Rhodium is the "missing ingredient" then should the original M&F material (Of which I haven't seen much more news about on the forum) be tested for the presence of Rhodium impurities?

The article talks about "1g of cathode material". I assume this refers to the size of the cathode used but the article does not make mention of how much gas/fuel was used to generate the 10kJ of excess heat. What was "excess", relative to what? Is "excess" relative to the total electrical energy put into the system? Where did the hydrogen come from? Was the energy needed to generate the hydrogen taken into account?
