More Open Science?
News out today:
In The Guardian : 'Randy Schekman, Nobel Winner, says his lab will no longer send papers to Nature, Cell and Science as they distort scientific process'
I see it as another step in the movement to democratize knowledge. Here is evidence of another step.
Humanity will need all the knowledge we can muster in order to overcome the challenges that are pending. Great insight and inspiration can come from anywhere in the world. The more educated everyone in the world is, the more true that statement is. The more we share the better off we will all be.
